Named yard basket because this is an early version of baskets I made prior to adding a little "thrill" to the disc catchers.
My earliest baskets were galvanized, and had a somewhat dull finish (which was OK, but a little utilitarian). When I went thru all the effort to shine the parts to a chrome look, I went searching for a suitable finish to complement all my efforts.
The local plating company showed me some examples of finishes, and explained the durability of "Zinc Ultra Seal", and when I saw this finish in gold,...it set the standard for future baskets!
I no longer make "standard baskets"!!
